Desk audit

A desk audit is a tool for assessing how well your organization is achieving its mission. It should be conducted by people who are familiar with the organization's goals and objectives, as well as its programs and services. These individuals may include:

• The executive director or CEO
• A board member or committee chairperson
• An employee who has worked at the nonprofit for many years
