Blind job advertisement
Apr 5, 2024
What is a blind job advertisement?
A blind job advertisement is a way to post a job without the name of the company being revealed. The name of the company will only be revealed after the candidate has been selected so that no other candidates are able to apply for that position.
The process works as follows:
- A recruiter posts an advert on LinkedIn or another platform, as usual.
- They include their email address in it.
- Applicants send their CV directly through this email address.
- Once enough applications have been received and reviewed by HR, they contact all applicants who passed their initial screening tests (usually via Skype interview) and invite them for face-to-face interviews.
The benefits of blind job advertisement
As you can see, according to the blind job posting definition, it is a great way to get the best candidates for your company. You don't have to worry about your competitors, because they won't be able to see whom you are looking for and what their qualifications are. This will ensure that only the most suitable candidates apply for the position, which can save your business time and money in the long run.
