Apr 4, 2024

What is 941-PR form?

The Form 941-PR, Puerto Rico Employer's Quarterly Federal Tax Return, is a quarterly tax return that covers federal income tax withheld and social security taxes.

Where to file the 941 PR form?  It must be filed with the Puerto Rico Department of Treasury.

Form 941-PR is due on the last day of the month following the calendar quarter.

If you are required to file Form 941-PR, you must file it electronically. This is a mandate from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and it applies to all business entities. Companies that have fewer than 10 full-time employees, and a gross income of less than $5 million per year, can opt out of electronic filing and instead send their returns via mail. However, if your company employs more than nine people or has annual gross revenues exceeding $5 million USD (USD), then you must use the IRS's secure e-file program in order to file correctly.
